Eco-kids is a line of ecologically friendly art supplies that includes Eco-dough. Their molding dough is made from all natural ingredients. {Natural and organic fruit, plant and vegetable extracts from annatto seed, beets, blueberries, carrots, paprika, purple sweet potato, red cabbage and spinach, flour, salt, cream of tartar, organic rosemary oil, vitamin E oil, soybean oil, coconut oil, potassium sorbate and citric acid}
Eco- dough comes in 5 – 4 oz. containers. The colors are raspberry (as I call it), orange, yellow, green, and blue.
.
The texture is soft and smooth. The Vitamin E makes your hands soft. Although our dough has stayed fresh in the containers, the package mentions that it can be moistened with a little olive oil if it starts to dry out.
The smell is agreeable. I can detect the rosemary, a scent that I enjoy especially during the holidays. I was actually nervous to smell it because I remember the awful smell of Play-dough.
This is a safe product for younger artists if they happen to “taste” their creativity.
We took precautions to set up our Eco-dough work area with paper bags but we didn’t have any problems with stains or oily spots. The website does warn that the purple color can stain being made with beets and sweet potatoes.

We recommend Eco-dough as an Earth friendly & kid kind art supply. I would like to see them make a modeling clay, like Van Aken Plastalina, for a broader capacity in sculpting fun.
I received Eco-dough from Eco-kids in exchange for an honest opinion. No other compensation was received.

Sounds like a great product. Love the creations too! (The hotdog is so funny!)
