Interesting name, right? I was sent an assortment of Naked Binders to use & I’m 100% impressed with their simplicity.
“All of our eco friendly 3-ring binders are created with FSC certified 100% recycled board (100% post consumer waste). We use no vinyls, plastics or toxins, minimize waste and minimize processing. ”
Naked Binder
Started in 2008, Naked Binder emerged having multiple goals: sustainability, great design, preserving wilderness we love and giving back to education that helped us get here. We designed the strongest, most sustainable 3-ring binders available – cutting waste in manufacturing, processing and travel. We make our binders, foldersand tabs in Des Moines, IA in the US of A out of FSC certified, 100% post-consumer waste binders board, 100% cotton cloth, a few FSC certified papers and metal rings. No plastics, vinyls or toxins. We designed our 3-ring binders to look so good you won’t want to get rid of them. We have everything you might need to impress a client, store your taxes or decorate your office. Naked Binder donates to support wilderness areas and schools around the US. Learning to think and space to think in are important for a better world.
Simple, yes. But they are also strong and stylish. They are available in several colors that dress them up to coordinate with your project or compliment your room decor. The colorful spine wrap is made of library-grade cotton book cloth.
In my opinion, the Naked Binders are sturdier than the vinyl binders; the durability will help offset the additional purchase cost. All the Naked Binders use a D ring and are available in several sizes. The Project Binder is also available in a round style spine. Tabs are available to organize your binder; they have debossed roman numerals on them.
The Notebook Binder is a smaller version of the Naked Binder. No color, just bare. This size binder holds. 5.5 x 8.5 paper. I’m using mine as a recipe keeper.
Naked Binder always offers a 25% discount on materials used in the line of work for Educators, Teachers, and Schools. This discount applies to home school.
