Thistle Dew Farm is a honey farm on the foothills of the Appalachia in West Virginia. It is one of the spotlight farms in the book Farm Fresh Southern Cooking which I reviewed on this blog a few months ago. Interested in their flavored honey, I emailed owner Ellie Conlon and she graciously sent me some to try.
Pretty 5 oz. jars of sweet goodness.
And of course, I should have a favorite. That would bee Orange Honey.
They were all great on my morning bagels, in hot & cold tea,
and on top of vanilla ice cream with some granola crunch.
I’m sure to find more ways to enjoy my Thistle Dew Farms honeys. Thistle Dew Farm sells more than just honey. Check out their website or if in the West Virginia area, give them a visit.
My thanks to Ellie for the delicious honeys.

They look very interesting, I can imagine being able to use them for all sorts of things, as you say.
