Life doesn’t go smoothly and Stumbling Into Grace accurately portrays every Christian’s walk with Christ as more of a stumble than a walk. Lisa Harper honestly and humorously writes a collection of life-stories to teach about grace.
She entertains along the way with her informal writing style. Each chapter begins with a personal story before moving on to a passage from the Gospels to illustrate the point being made. The author, taking liberty to rephrase some bible stories, wants the narratives to be understood through a more personal evaluation. Each chapter ends with a prayer, question for thought, and a journal entry prompt.

This book demonstrates that we do matter tremendously to God as we can see in the life and ministry of Jesus. Stumbling Into Grace can be the teaching tool you need in your life. There were several parts in the book that spoke directly to me and I’m certain any reader of this encouraging book will discover parts that are directed at them as well.
