Book Description:

Bestselling author, Sally Lloyd-Jones (The Jesus Storybook Bible) paired with award-winning artist David McPhail offers a fresh, new perspective on the Easter Story and rebirth with a new picture book.

When a bunny is born in spring, the world is green and new and full of hope. But as the seasons change, the bunny worries that the earth may be dying. In bestselling author Sally Lloyd-Jones’ latest picture book celebrating the Easter season and rebirth, children will be transfixed by one bunny’s discovery of life, death, and nature’s miraculous transformation.

Award-winning artist David McPhail’s classic and inviting illustrations reflect the beauty of the world around us while Lloyd-Jones’ inspirational text weaves a hope-filled story perfect for the Easter season.

Nice picture book story about a little bunny’s first experience of each season. There is no biblical reference in the story. It’s a good book about the seasons, but not about the Easter story. Each page is filled with beautiful watercolor illustrations of animals and nature. The story has the right about of sentences on each page to keep interest and the story moving along. The final page is a paraphrased quotation from Martin Luther which I would have preferred to be the actual quote.

Frank Hooks

Frank Hooks is a Brooklyn-based company that makes – you guessed it – Frank Hooks. Frank, the wall hook, is our main product and our best friend. He began life in 2012 as a Kickstarter project and has since been welcomed into homes all over the world. He’s a small guy with a big heart… and big ears!
Check out this bunny! Frank is so cute and his ears are very helpful for hanging things. Measuring 3″ by 3″, he’s made from powder-coated steel and can hold up to 50 lbs.  He comes in a gift box with two 1″ screws. Choose from six colors.
He is just the best!
My black bunny stays in my laundry room and he keeps me company while I’m in there making the dirty clothes clean. His ears hold small wash bags, sometimes filled with wool dryer balls. He also helps by holding the wee little socks.
Clever and  purposeful! Frank’s friends are: Hank, dog; Tom, cat; Emma, elephant; Shane, moose; and Jenny, hedgehog. Get the whole gang and hang up some stuff.
Notes From Dawn received a black bunny wall hook from Frank Hooks in exchange for an honest review. A positive review is not guaranteed, and all opinions are my own. No other compensation was received.
