Recycled Tail Prop Suet Feeder

Recycled Tail Prop Suet Feeder

Durable poly-lumber will not crack, split, warp or fade. The bird-friendly tail-prop design lets birds land and perch easier as they actually “prop” their tails on the long bottom portion of the feeder for leverage. Ideal for cold weather, suet is packed with fat and calories to help keep birds warm in freezing weather.  Can be used for year-round use with No-Melt suets for warm-weather feeding. This feeder fits all standard suet cakes, features stainless steel screws and twisted wire hanger.

Recycled. USA Made. The birds in my yard have taken to it right away.

What is Home Art Studio?

This program is designed to increase students’ love and appreciation of the visual arts. The Home Art Studio program will enhance a child’s ability to problem-solve, think creatively, and truly see the world around them. The art projects students will complete are designed to illustrate the elements and principles of art in an age-appropriate way.

We recommend viewing and beginning one project a week. The lessons build on prior knowledge. Throughout the school year, the student will gain greater understanding and hands-on skills.

The lessons include a variety of media. Students are introduced to drawing, painting, sculpture, and more! Students will also listen to professional artists, take a trip to an art museum, and learn about how art is everywhere in the world around them. Parents don’t need to be intimidated by their own lack of knowledge or skill as an artist. The projects are easy to follow, and a lot of fun for students!

Students will work at different paces. It’s just fine if a student wants to take a long time on their masterpiece. Please let them go at their own speed to express themselves, while also taking the time to make sure they absorb the concepts being taught in the lesson. Most importantly, keep “art time” pressure-free and encourage your student to think outside the canvas; students are most creative when they’re having fun!

Art Education worth buying! We received the Home Art Studio Kindergarten program w/supplies for review and had lots of good fun learning about lines, patterns, and shapes with different art materials. We watched the video lesson on the tv and then did the art project. I have a chrome book and was not able to use the PDF files. The DVD is reasonably priced at 29.99. The supply list for the projects taught can also be purchased and comes from Jerry’s Artarama (63.57 for a good size box of art supplies. see list below)
  • Pacon Tru-Ray Sulphite Construction Paper Pack of 50 12×18″ – Assorted Colors
  • Sculpey White Polymer Modeling Clay – 1.75 lbs.
  • RAS 2 oz Tempera 12 Color Set
  • First Impressions Complete Art Studio Set for Kids
  • Round Chubby Paint Brush for Kids – 10pk
  • Strathmore 300 Spiral Watercolor Pad 11×15″
  • Bristol Pad 11×14″
  • Mijello Fredi Weber Peel-able Tray Palette

Kindergarten through fifth grade DVD’s available as well as a holiday arts & crafts program. We reviewed this Kindergarten DVD and recommend it for home school/ home use. It was professionally done with a good variety of projects appropriate for the grade level. The presentation was calm which is a big aspect of why I enjoyed this curriculum. (not loud or hyper) Pics of some of our completed projects coming soon.

Where’s Walrus? and Where’s Walrus? and Penguin? are two fun picture books. No words. And none are needed for an entertaining story. Actually, I like that I can create my own telling of the plot for my listener. Both books have been read many times already. Large bold illustrations are used for a hidden but obvious hide and seek game. These titles are two book shelf keepers.

Bored with life at the zoo, an adventurous walrus escapes to the outside world. With the zookeeper in hot pursuit, Walrus cleverly tries on all sorts of hats to disguise himself.

Where's Walrus?

When Walrus escapes the zoo with his new friend Penguin, their adventures are twice the fun!

Amazing Action Alphabet Flip ChartThe Amazing Action Alphabet is so successful because it takes the abstract alphabet-with its shapes, names, and sounds-and presents it to the learner in terms based on knowledge that most children already have and understand.

About the Amazing Action Alphabet

The Amazing Alphabet Flip Chart was reviewed by me with my 2 year old boy. It’s sized 6 x 9, spiral-bound, with card stock pages printed on both sides. From the See Hear Do Company, I love this approach. For each letter of the alphabet, there is an animal that creates the shape of the letter (see). There is also a story for that letter (hear) and an action activity to include with the story (do). Excellent resource for families.

Other products available in addition to this flip chart so I recommend visiting their web site.

AquaPlay is the original water canal system from Sweden and was developed 1977. Now as ever children of all ages love playing with water. There are plenty of things for small discoverers to learn; the concept of floating and sinking, what makes a pump work, building and construction.

Today AquaPlay canal systems are distributed in more than 40 countries and delight children from 3-6 years all over the world. Both parents and educators appreciate the award-winning toy system as a representative of high-value, quality and educational play with water.

It is a modular system that provides endless opportunities for expansion and rebuilding. The wide range of accessories also helps to stimulate children’s imagination. The AquaPlay canal systems can be handed down from older to younger children, providing years and years of fun and laughter.

The AquaPlay canal systems are produced in Burghaslach, Germany and made of non-toxic, recyclable plastic.
The packaging is easy to recycle and we are constantly working on making the AquaPlay products as environmentally friendly as possible. All our products are carefully tested after the latest standards
EN:71 and ASTM. The CE-mark and the secure three-year warranty is a clear sign of quality.

Smoby AquaPlay Mega Lock Box

My review of the Mega LockBox:

The video links ⇩ pretty much sums up how wonderful this educational toy is!

How to sluice your AuqaPlay boat through the lock

Quality made of non-toxic plastic. No batteries. First time assembly requires rubber seal strips to go in the grooves of the red connector pieces. During play, I haven’t had any leaking from the seal strips yet. I couldn’t say how they will perform after repeated use, but the red connectors and the rubber seals can be purchased separately. Set is expandable and can be used multiple ways.

This is an outdoor toy and a flat surface is needed for it to work- to keep the water level even- especially for a large set. For this reason, we played on the porch. I’d like to come up with a board or something easy to keep it on instead of completely taking it apart to store. Article size when assembled: 152x162x22 cm

AquaPlay sets are a COOL toy for a HOT summer day. I might find other uses with it indoors without water but haven’t explored that yet.
