TORRAIN

Recycled style! Torrain bags are made from materials that were originally used to transport fish feed and cement in Southeast Asia. The Torrain bag styles are designed in Portland, Oregon but are made in Cambodia by artisans who benefit from this employment. Get the whole Torrain history on the website.

Style: Tote – colorful, durable, lightweight, and water resistant. Colors and prints vary. This tangerine tote is 15.5 x 20″. It has interior pockets and a zip pocket. The outside of the bag is the original bag material (woven plastic) but the inside of the bag is lined with a cotton/nylon blend.

Their Organic Farming (EN-38) T-Shirt sums up what SOS from Texas is all about.

That’s right. They “Grow T-Shirts” AND maintain old-fashioned, chemical-free farming practices. It doens’t get any better then this.

USA farmer grown organic cotton. Great quality. Basic style. Good price.

While they mostly grow t-shirts, they do have a few baby products like this baby receiving blanket. It is 32″x40″ of SOS organic cotton thermal fabric. Very soft. Nothing we have comes close to how this one cozies.

Thistle Dew Farm is a honey farm on the foothills of the Appalachia in West Virginia. It is one of the spotlight farms in the book Farm Fresh Southern Cooking which I reviewed on this blog a few months ago. Interested in their flavored honey, I emailed owner Ellie Conlon and she graciously sent me some to try.

Pretty 5 oz. jars of sweet goodness.

And of course, I should have a favorite. That would bee Orange Honey.

They were all great on my morning bagels, in hot & cold tea,

and on top of vanilla ice cream with some granola crunch.

I’m sure to find more ways to enjoy my Thistle Dew Farms honeys. Thistle Dew Farm sells more than just honey. Check out their website or if in the West Virginia area, give them a visit.

My thanks to Ellie for the delicious honeys.

I received honeys from Thistle Dew Farms to facilitate the writing of an honest review. A positive review is not guaranteed, and all opinions are my own. No other compensation was received.
