Mountain Crest Gardens™ is a family owned and operated succulent nursery established in 1995, located in the scenic Scott Valley of Northern California near Mt. Shasta.

Echeveria Collection Small (5)

Echeveria Collection

An assortment of five plants. Arrived individually paper bag wrapped healthy and ready for planting. Three were whisked away by an admirer. The two I kept are planted together in a metal container. They both have slight touches of pink and I’m wanting to find a cute little snowman or polar bear to add. We will see how they like growing at my house (a succulent newbie)

This is a hot trend for their low maintenance and wondrous variety. An individual plant makes a great (& simple) teacher gift. Or hostess gift. Or office co-worker gift. {you get the idea} Would you consider adding succulents to your holiday decorating?

Calia Essential Oil Starter Ensemble

Calia Essential Oil Starter Ensemble

Review: Included in the starter ensemble are five popular oils (Eucalyptus, Lavender, Peppermint, Rosemary, and Tea Tree), Sweet Almond Carrier Oil, Vanilla (although not a true essential oil), and two of their blends called Breathe Easy and Sleep Easy. The 10 ml size makes for easy sharing. A great starter set for a holiday gift (hostess gift).

Hair Care

I also tried their Hydrating Shampoo and Hydrating Conditioner. Both products are enriched with silicia (horsetail extract), something I haven’t seen in natural hair care. They have a light fragrance from Lavender, Bergamot and Rose Geranium essential oils. The website is easy to use with product ingredient are clearly shown.

Do you love trying new natural beauty products? Or know someone who does? (Calia Natural Gift Card)
