Everyone loves ‘Bingo the Puppy’™. Unleash this playful pup and watch him bounce, tumble & roll over! Then match his ‘spots’ to a space on your game board and place a chip there. Be the first player with three chips in a row and you win!

Bingo The Puppy Board Game

It is a fun game to play with a 3 year old. Easy to understand rules as you can read from the description of the game above. As with the previous Jax games I reviewed, everything is quality made to last for many enjoyable game times. Visit Jax Games to see this and other terrific games ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ

What is Home Art Studio?

This program is designed to increase students’ love and appreciation of the visual arts. The Home Art Studio program will enhance a child’s ability to problem-solve, think creatively, and truly see the world around them. The art projects students will complete are designed to illustrate the elements and principles of art in an age-appropriate way.

We recommend viewing and beginning one project a week. The lessons build on prior knowledge. Throughout the school year, the student will gain greater understanding and hands-on skills.

The lessons include a variety of media. Students are introduced to drawing, painting, sculpture, and more! Students will also listen to professional artists, take a trip to an art museum, and learn about how art is everywhere in the world around them. Parents don’t need to be intimidated by their own lack of knowledge or skill as an artist. The projects are easy to follow, and a lot of fun for students!

Students will work at different paces. It’s just fine if a student wants to take a long time on their masterpiece. Please let them go at their own speed to express themselves, while also taking the time to make sure they absorb the concepts being taught in the lesson. Most importantly, keep “art time” pressure-free and encourage your student to think outside the canvas; students are most creative when they’re having fun!

Art Education worth buying! We received the Home Art Studio Kindergarten program w/supplies for review and had lots of good fun learning about lines, patterns, and shapes with different art materials. We watched the video lesson on the tv and then did the art project. I have a chrome book and was not able to use the PDF files. The DVD is reasonably priced at 29.99. The supply list for the projects taught can also be purchased and comes from Jerry’s Artarama (63.57 for a good size box of art supplies. see list below)
  • Pacon Tru-Ray Sulphite Construction Paper Pack of 50 12×18″ – Assorted Colors

Kindergarten through fifth grade DVD’s available as well as a holiday arts & crafts program. We reviewed this Kindergarten DVD and recommend it for home school/ home use. It was professionally done with a good variety of projects appropriate for the grade level. The presentation was calm which is a big aspect of why I enjoyed this curriculum. (not loud or hyper) Pics of some of our completed projects coming soon.

award-winning activity, novelty, and educational nonfiction books for preschoolers to 12-year-olds

Check out the new September releases on Facebook

This stunning collection of nursery rhymes features all of the favorites, each illustrated by a different artist. My Wonderful Nursery Rhyme Collection is the perfect gift for baby showers or birthdays. It includes a die-cut cover, ribbon bookmark, and 192-pages of classic rhymes paired with modern illustration. This nursery rhyme collection is sure to be a collectible passed through the generations.

There are 192 pages in this hardcover book of almost 100 nursery rhymes. Starting with “song” nursery rhymes, the book then groups the others into categories of action, animal, games, counting, and lullabies. There is an instruction page for suggested actions to do and for games following each of those sections. It’s a large book (9.7 x 11.1) with equally large illustrations. Very pretty and nicely arranged. We will be continuing to read through it and finding our favorites.

Who is flying high one moment, only to come down low the next? Who is quiet with anticipation of a loud celebration? In Peekaboo Pals: Opposites, children will lift the flaps and be delighted by the amusing antics of the illustrated animals while learning about opposites. Colorful illustrations and flaps with hidden surprises underneath will keep youngsters engaged as they learn.

Sturdy flap book for little ones with thicker pages than a paperback. In this lift-the-flap book, different kinds of animals act out the opposite presented. More than the typical up/down – there are a lot of opposites in this book. Humorous and fun, this book is well written and illustrated. I categorized this one with those books that you don’t mind reading over and over.

walter_3.jpg

Hardcover, 32 pages, ages 2-4

Meet a determined little spider who can’t seem to spin a perfect web. Whoosh goes the wind as it blows each web away. But one thing Walter can spin is shapes and one day he spins the most spectacular shape of all. It’s better than perfect – it’s a truly wonderful web.

I love this spider! This is a great picture book that my little reviewer and I both recommend. (It’s the one I pick when it’s “my” turn to choose) It entertains with a wonderful story and with beautiful illustrations. It teaches basic shapes and the concept of perseverance. Good book to choose for fall, an active spider season. More from Tim Hopgood on Amazon.

Amazing Action Alphabet Flip ChartThe Amazing Action Alphabet is so successful because it takes the abstract alphabet-with its shapes, names, and sounds-and presents it to the learner in terms based on knowledge that most children already have and understand.

About the Amazing Action Alphabet

The Amazing Alphabet Flip Chart was reviewed by me with my 2 year old boy. It’s sized 6 x 9, spiral-bound, with card stock pages printed on both sides. From the See Hear Do Company, I love this approach. For each letter of the alphabet, there is an animal that creates the shape of the letter (see). There is also a story for that letter (hear) and an action activity to include with the story (do). Excellent resource for families.

Other products available in addition to this flip chart so I recommend visiting their web site.
