Hardcover, 32 pages, ages 2-4

Meet a determined little spider who can’t seem to spin a perfect web. Whoosh goes the wind as it blows each web away. But one thing Walter can spin is shapes and one day he spins the most spectacular shape of all. It’s better than perfect – it’s a truly wonderful web.

I love this spider! This is a great picture book that my little reviewer and I both recommend. (It’s the one I pick when it’s “my” turn to choose) It entertains with a wonderful story and with beautiful illustrations. It teaches basic shapes and the concept of perseverance. Good book to choose for fall, an active spider season. More from Tim Hopgood on Amazon.
