Written by Cara Tambellini Danielson, a licensed and ASHA certified speech-language pathologist. She specializes in pediatric speech and language development. Her book was designed to help children learn first words and improve articulation.

It is a perfect little book for any toddler! My reviewer for this book was a two year old boy with a bit of a speech delay.

Target words in the book: up, mop, hop, beep, cup, hat, bat, hot, eat, boat, book, kick, cake, bike, duck.

Repetition used. The format allows for a little one to join in -and say- the last word of the sentence.

Illustrations are great. And I think that’s equally as important as content. In this book of few words, the pictures were clear and background color changes were cleverly different to keep attention. Easy to Say First Words - Inside Page 2

I received this book from Cara Rambellini Danielson in exchange for an honest blog review.
