Book Description:

Bestselling author, Sally Lloyd-Jones (The Jesus Storybook Bible) paired with award-winning artist David McPhail offers a fresh, new perspective on the Easter Story and rebirth with a new picture book.

When a bunny is born in spring, the world is green and new and full of hope. But as the seasons change, the bunny worries that the earth may be dying. In bestselling author Sally Lloyd-Jones’ latest picture book celebrating the Easter season and rebirth, children will be transfixed by one bunny’s discovery of life, death, and nature’s miraculous transformation.

Award-winning artist David McPhail’s classic and inviting illustrations reflect the beauty of the world around us while Lloyd-Jones’ inspirational text weaves a hope-filled story perfect for the Easter season.

Nice picture book story about a little bunny’s first experience of each season. There is no biblical reference in the story. It’s a good book about the seasons, but not about the Easter story. Each page is filled with beautiful watercolor illustrations of animals and nature. The story has the right about of sentences on each page to keep interest and the story moving along. The final page is a paraphrased quotation from Martin Luther which I would have preferred to be the actual quote.

The BookLook Bloggers book review program provided this complimentary copy for review purposes. No other compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
