Planet Wise

Their mission?

To reduce our environmental impact, all products have been thoroughly researched and are all PVC-free and lead-free (a surprising fact is that many zippers have been painted using paint that contains lead). All the products we have developed are reusable and have been designed to replace disposable items; helping to reduce waste that ends up in the landfills. Planet Wise Wet Bags™ have been designed to be useful for every age from young children, in diapers, to the mature adult transporting shoes, cosmetics, swimwear, or gym wear. Also, our packaging is printed on recycled/recyclable paper using soy-based ink.

My review

The Planet Wise Wipe Pouch is designed for hand wipes. It can be used for numerous other things too & I’d recommend it only for the other things. When using it with wipes, I found that the the outside of the bag felt very damp while the wipes inside started to dry out.

The Wipe Pouch misses the mark when aiming to keep wipes. But when used as a stylish reusable option for storing say, markers or small bottles of shampoo/lotion, I think it would be great☮

I received a Wipe Pouch from Planet Wise to help facilitate the writing of an honest review. A positive review is not guaranteed, and all opinions are my own. No other compensation was received.

Reviewed: Fabric Basket

Triangles? Polar Bears?  A print with both in subtle shades of purple, lilac, and yellow on a natural background. Luisa uses organic cotton and organic cotton canvas for this fabric basket.  A 6″ by 6″ size for storing all kinds of little things. Right now it’s holding some back-to-school supplies. But who knows what else I might use it for.

Purposeful for kids, big people, and polar bear admirers♥

Handcrafted and Eco Friendly in Holland
After 5 years working in Marketing, I decided to change gears, quit my job and stay home with my, then, 4 month old daughter. I have never looked back!Seven years, thousands of hours of sewing and two daughters later, I am still as happy to be home, look after my family and create beautiful items, made with gorgeous prints!I let the fabrics inspire me and determine what I make! I love picking out pretty and colorful fabrics and then mixing and matching them to carefully create beautiful, simple products.

Caring for the environment is very important to me and so I try to use as much eco-friendly materials as possible, be it organic or vintage fabrics or sewing notions, recycled/recyclable packaging.

Notes From Dawn received a fabric basket from B*LOTA in exchange for an honest review. A positive review is not guaranteed, and all opinions are my own. No other compensation was received.

A lemon or lime half goes here. This is the squeezable silicone part for easy juicing.

This is the best thing I’ve used to keep my things in when I go for walks or bike rides.

What is the ArmPocket?

The ArmpocketTM has been developed by a team of active athletes.

Needing to carry their cell phones, car-keys, energy bars and gels on their long pre-marathon training runs and the gym—they tried every type of carrying device known—hip-packs, back packs, belts, multi-pocket running shirts and shorts. After several bruised hips, strap welts, dropped and moisture-damaged cell phones and car keys, they came up with idea of the “Arm-pocket”. After 3 years of constant improvement, the first Armpocket was launched in 2006, creating the world’s most comfortable and versatile hands-free carrying system—best of all, Armpockets are ECO-Friendly.

There are several different styles of armpockets in a variety of colors to suit your preference. It also comes in several sizes for a secure and comfortable fit. My Armpocket is the SPORT i-20 style, size small, in black. I love it. It has plenty of storage room and a touch-thru window for my iPhone. Inside on the front there is a stretchy band to hold the phone and inside on the back there are two pockets. It has many carefully designed features to support the claim that it’s “The Ultimate Armband”. I especially favor the loop that is designed to hold the zippers so they don’t bounce. And it’s a given that I’d like that the Armband is made from recycled materials and bamboo!

Thanks Autumn for showing how fun the Armpocket is to wear.
